You're Not An Adult...

While talking to my son "bubby" today. He was telling me about something that he saw on a cartoon that he was watching, and as I was listening and interacting with him.

He would respond with a "uh huh" instead of a yes ma'am. So I reminded him of what to say when answering adults (yes ma'am and yes sir) not "uh huh".

Then he said so sweetly "but you're not an adult... you're a momma" LOL...I was not expecting him to say that, and it was so funny to me, but I had to keep a straight face, so he would take me seriously. I must say that his response was clever and justifiable in it's own way (smiles)!!
