Do You Hear The Trumpet...

This Sunday's message was titled "Do You Hear The Trumpet". Explaining from a spiritual point of view. The disturbing signs of the times that represent the sword and God's truth which represents the trumpet.

How we must take heed to these signs, by living lives that reflect Holiness, and blow the trumpet by being a witness to others about Salvation through Jesus Christ (Acts 2:38-39) before it's too late.

Ezekiel 33:3-5 ~If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. Sometimes I wonder how is the wealthy able to distinguish what is, and what is not genuine love in their relationships with people. Really, how do they know

that they are loved for who they are, and not because of their money? At the end of the day everybody deserves to be genuinely loved. This is one thing money can't buy...

Feeling burdened down and overwhelmed. Can cause one to feel as if God has left them completely on their own... It's in these times that you must remember to override

EVERYTHING that's negative, and continue walking by Faith ... For God is still with you, making a way for you in his own timing. Which is always worth waiting for!

These Things Are Vanity...

Let us not be consumed by earthly status, and cares of this world. For these things are vanity... Keeping our minds stayed on the Spiritual things of God is always right... For only what we do for his Glory will count, and will last forever!

Ecclesiastes 12:13 ~Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

It's Always A Blessing...

While walking in the store with my children this evening. A little girl walked up to us and handed two of my oldest children a booklet. After we got home and got the chance to take a good look at it.

It was a Gospel track booklet for kids... It's always a blessing to see the youth being a witness for Jesus Christ!! Proverbs 22:6 ~Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Mending Your Ways...

The topic of this Sunday's message was about "Mending Your Ways". How there is a great need for genuinely repenting, and getting your life right with God... For receiving Salvation, and being determined to live a Holy life,

both inside the church and outside the church.Then at the closing of the message, we were left with this question... Examine yourself... are you really in right standing with God... if you died today, where would you spend eternity?

Jeremiah 6:15 ~Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.

Fourth Of July 2014...
