Walking In The Light...

This Sunday's message was about "Walking In The Light" and describing those of us that are saved as Lambs. Who must stay close to our Shepard which is God, who knows how to shine his "Light" on the paths of our lives.

It's Always Refreshing...

To praise, worship, and feel the anointing of God, is always refreshing and exciting to me. There is nothing in this world greater than the Holy presence of God ! :)

John 4:23 ~But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

Upholding Moral Standards...

These Things Are Vanity...

Let us not be consumed by earthly status, and cares of this world. For these things are vanity... Keeping our minds stayed on the Spiritual things of God is always right... For only what we do for his Glory will count, and will last forever!

Ecclesiastes 12:13 ~Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.

Mending Your Ways...

The topic of this Sunday's message was about "Mending Your Ways". How there is a great need for genuinely repenting, and getting your life right with God... For receiving Salvation, and being determined to live a Holy life,

both inside the church and outside the church.Then at the closing of the message, we were left with this question... Examine yourself... are you really in right standing with God... if you died today, where would you spend eternity?

Jeremiah 6:15 ~Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.

Pray During Every Season...

"When you feel like it pray, when you don't feel like it pray, when times are good pray, when times are hard pray. For there is power in choosing to pray and trust God during EVERY SEASON of our lives!

Strength From The Honeycomb...

This Sunday's message was titled "Strength From The Honeycomb". The topic was about how the reading and living of the word of God makes us sweeter,stronger individuals.

Who must keep up our supply of spiritual strength and joy, by staying around the swarm which represents the church.

Where the true word of God is being taught and preached, which represents the honey. Providing us with the encouragement that we need, to happily go forward on this journey of salvation!

For The Glory Of God...

Our congregation had a busy Saturday this weekend... We had a street meeting this morning. Where some of the church members went out and witnessed to others about salvation.

There was choir practice this afternoon, then we held a sisterhood prayer meeting afterwards. We're a small congregation but we still remain active for the glory of God!

Matthew 18:20 ~For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

Having Love For The Church...

Hebrews 10:25 ~Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Take Some Time Off...

Yes, a man must work but it's not good to work all the time. Even God didn't work 24/7.It's in the bible that he rested on the seventh day... Take some time off and enjoy yourself. A man once told me that only two things work all the time, and they don't live very long, that's a bee and an ant!

Righteousness Daily...

This Wednesday nights Bible study was about the walk of a child of God. How we being saved should not walk in darkness. But walk in the newness of life, living perfect before the Lord. Reaching for his righteousness daily. Trusting him to keep us on track and not we ourselves.

Genesis 17:1 ~And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.

Better Than Our Own...

Remain patient concerning God's plan for your life. Keep the faith and happily look forward to. The things that God is doing in his OWN timing. You will be glad you did, for his plan is ALWAYS better than our own!
Ephesians 3:20-21 ~Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

Stop Counting The Tally Marks...

There is peace, growth, and breakthrough when one truly trusts God. Giving up totally to how he views you and what he wants to do in your life is what pleases him.

No matter how many times you fail. Remember to stop counting the tally marks, sincerely repent, and reach for new beginnings in God EVERYDAY.

There will come a time when you will look up, and see the evidence that it was nothing you did, but it was God that kept you, cleansed you, and washed you free of the bondage that you were once in!!

Proverbs 3:5-6 ~Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

The Great Men In My Life...

I'm looking forward to spending Father's Day with my dad on Sunday(that's him in the picture). He is the kind of man, that has always been a hard worker, that believed in loving and taking care of his family, I thank God for him.

I'm also grateful that my children get to enjoy these same qualities with their father. God has truly placed great men in my life. To my dad and my husband I say "Happy Father's Day" I love You !!

Being Wise In Life...

This Wednesday night's bible study was about being wise in life. Preparing now for your future, like ants prepare their food in summer. Staying close to the "rock" which is God and the church, like conies stay close to rocks for they are their

safety net. Working together to get things done, like the locusts that band together, and staying determined to reach your goal, like the spider who doesn't mind respinning it's web. No matter how many times it's been torn down!

Proverbs 30:24-28 ~There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.

Marriage...

This Sunday's bible study was about marriage, and how God planned marriage to be. A union between one man and one woman.

Remain Humble...

Be careful not to glorify yourself in the things of this world . Nor toot your own horn, with a "look what I can do" attitude. But remain humble, letting your glory be towards the things that God delights over.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 ~Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches:
But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.
