Little Boxing Glove...

After a fun day of playing outside. I think "Zee" was bitten by an ant. We noticed that one of his hands looks like a little boxing glove, and has what looks like small bumps. The good thing is it hasn't slowed him down at all, but because of the swelling.

I'll be helping to keep that down, until it looks better. My oldest daughter swells like this too, when bitten by ants. I wonder why that is, when I was little my ant bites only left itchy bumps, but no swelling at all...

Words Like Prettyful...

You get words like "prettyful" when listening to our son "bubby" talk. It was a nice day outside today where we live, and "bubby" after coming in from outside.

Looked out the window, and said "it is prettyful outside". It was funny how he mixed pretty and beautiful together.

Mama It's Cold Outside...

With a drop in the temperature and change of the weather. Many people in colder areas are preparing to bundle up with their hoods and scarves. Some have purchased theirs from a store which is fine if that's what they like. Then there are those of us who simply enjoy knitting our own right at home.

If you are someone who already enjoys knitting like I do, or want to learn how. I have posted two videos of how I knitted what I like to call my daughter's "Pom Pom" hood and scarf set,

she loves it, Now if I can only knit up five more sets because my husband wears the hoods that I make too... Lord help me (smiles) somebody might be getting theirs from the store after all (smiles) we'll see though!!
