Enjoying The Journey...

Today's post marks one hundred days of daily blogging, for my husband and I. We are continuing to enjoy the journey. Most days it's fun, some days I almost forget,

but God reminds me, in just enough time to get a post done for the day,(smiles). We still look forward to posting as much as possible,

and have realized the importance of having an "active" online presence. With myself being an indie gospel artist, having written an eBook devotional, and also having our own website. We want to continue using these tools, and online venues to first...

Be a witness to others about the one true living God, and his salvation that is available to us all, through Jesus Christ! (Acts 2:38-39), and then to talk about this beautiful journey called life... If it be the Lord's will, we want to do this for a long time. "Thanks" to those that have stuck around since the beginning!

A Living Example...

As I read the book of Titus today, I enjoyed a very sobering study of how Titus had the responsibility of setting the church at Crete in order, and how important it is for us as a saved people,

to continue being a living example of what is right and Holy. Keeping the working out of our salvation as the most important thing in our lives!

Titus 2:11-12~ For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Reading It Daily...

The topic for this Wednesday's Bible teaching was about the powerful word of God. The importance of reading your Bible daily, and the positive effects of LIVING what you read, will have on your life!

Hebrews 4:12 ~ For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. ~KJV Bible~

Let's Play Boosh...

Running up to me, wide eyed and with a smile. Our son "bubby" says, mama let's play "boosh". "Boosh" is a sound that I make when I'm tossing him up in the air, and he loves it.

Then of course once I started playing with him, all the rest of our children wanted to play too, and as we laughed, played, and had fun together.

I thought about how these are the moments that children enjoy the most, and our children will probably remember for a long time. Take the time to love on, and have fun with your children, because when that precious time is gone... it's gone and you can't get it back.

Our Own Tantrums...

There are times when our youngest son "Zee" will have a tantrum and refuse to calm down until he gets ready, and once he does. I can still take a look at his cute little face,

and forget all about how he has showed out on me (smiles). It's also in these times, that I realize how we as God's children can sometimes

throw our own "tantrums" in life. When situations don't go our way. Yet God is still right there, being patient, loving, and forgiving towards us!
