Scratchy Hoarse Sore...

My throat is scratchy, hoarse, and slightly sore. It's official I am starting to have symptoms of a cold. It's time to break out the medication and the coffee.

I've read somewhere that coffee has a lot of antioxidants. That could keep my symptoms from getting worse. I usually don't get sick often, and at times everyone

in the house can be sick except me, and I kind of think it's because I drink coffee almost every day, but NOT AS MUCH in the last two weeks... I don't know if that's definitely the case but...it's something to think about!

Compassion...

This Wednesday nights bible study was about compassion, and having compassion for those that are suffering and don't know God.Being able to witness to them, tell them about Jesus, and how to be saved.(Acts 2:38-39)

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.

Begin To Experience...

As a saved people we don't have to feel like we would be happier if the world loved us. Don't change or compromise in order to think you'll be better loved or received by the world.

God's love and all he has to offer us through Salvation... is ALWAYS more than enough to sustain our need for Love, Joy, Peace, and CONTENTMENT in this world.

Also pray for the unsaved today, that they too will receive salvation Acts 2:38-39, and begin a BEYOND AWESOME walk with the one true living God, that's available to us all in the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

Nothing More Fulfilling...

I'm always proud to see my loved ones doing what makes them happy. There is nothing more fulfilling than being in God's will, and doing what he has gifted you to do.

God Heard Him...

Thinking about the book of Jonah, and some of the things that God did in this book of the bible. It's very sobering to meditate on how mighty and powerful our God really is.

How he SENT out a great wind into the sea, and there was a MIGHTY tempest in the sea. Prepared a GREAT fish to swallow up Jonah. KEPT Jonah alive in the belly of that fish for THREE DAYS and THREE NIGHTS,

and while in the belly of the fish, Jonah prayed to the Lord God, and God HEARD him. Then the Lord spoke TO THE FISH, and it vomited out Jonah, upon DRY LAND. There is Nobody greater than you LORD GOD!
