Turned Out Great...

Our oldest daughter made microwaved peanut butter, cookies, from scratch this week, using a "cookie in a cup" recipe

that she found on YouTube. They turned out great, and tasted really good too. Keep up the good work Dayla, Love You :) !!

My mini amp (HoneyTone Amp) was delivered in the mail today, and Just like the reviews that I have read and seen,

it really is a great item to have on hand, for certain music needs. It's small with an impressively loud sound, just what I needed!

Well Worth It...

Since the eleven o'clock hour today, I have been hard at work producing music. It's now the eight o'clock hour as I take another break to type this post, I am still at it.

The process is not always easy, but knowing that I am in the will of God for my life, doing what I am supposed to, with the gifts he has Blessed me with, is well worth it!

I feel that there are many people in the times that we are living in, who don't love God, won't serve God, don't believe in God,and want you to BE QUIET about God.

Yet to those of us that do. I say stay encouraged my brothers and sisters in Christ. Continue loving, serving, believing,and boldly declaring God's glory!

Fixed It Myself...

The hardest sink clog I have ever had, since being a home owner, has finally been fixed. Eleven dollars (for a small plumbing instrument),

and some bleach, got the job done. I fixed it myself, and didn't have to call the plumber after all!

Check In On Them...

It's cold where we are tonight about 39 degrees, but in some parts of the state it's 28 degrees which is considered "cold". If you have loved ones are know anybody

that's elderly and may live alone, it would be nice to check in on them if you can. Making sure that they are warm and doing okay!

Would Be Fun...

Earlier last month I posted about a craft that I made with one of my empty, coffee creamer containers, called the "pom pom flower vase".

Receiving His Peace...

I can tell the difference in my day when it is started off with prayer, and Scripture(Bible Reading). If I don't get that quiet time with God in the mornings.

The rest of my day would just seem ..."OFF", which is something that I definitely don't want.

I would rather enjoy God's presence all throughout the day. Receiving his peace that surpasses all understanding!

Seemed Like Yesterday...

I read an interesting,article earlier today about tech items, and how certain ones are getting less usage. The digital camera, the desktop computer, and the laptop were part of the list...

I have thought about this eventually happening with desktop computers, but I'm kind of surprised that the use of digital cameras and laptops are declining so soon,

it seemed like just yesterday consumers were excited about the release of the digital camera.

Purposefully See Others...

Purposefully see others in a greater state of destiny this year.Your loved ones, your friends, and even your enemies.

See the unsaved SAVED, see the drunkard SOBER, see those that are angry and bitter, HAPPY and COMPASSIONATE towards others.

I believe that when we see these things by faith Spiritually. Someone somewhere will change their mindset in the name of Jesus, and began walking in God's will for their lives physically!

Forgetting Those Things...

Holding on to worrisome things from the past, will hinder us from experiencing the best for our future. As I was praying earlier today, scriptures came to mind, and the thought of how there is power in truly forgetting those things that are behind us.

Satan is an accuser of the brethren all the day long, and wants to try and remind you everyday of your life that you are not worthy of being saved, and all of the reasons why, but this is NOT so.

Don't listen to the enemy, press toward the things of God, and walk towards your future with confidence and trust in God. You will find peace there, happiness there, and an assurance that you are worthy, In the mighty name of Jesus Christ!

A Cook In Training...

Our oldest daughter Dayla is now our cook in training. She has been helping me in the kitchen over the past few days. I am proud of her for being so eager to learn.

Showing and teaching my daughter how to cook is a skill that will always be, a great help to her, long after she has grown up and left home,

doing so also brings back memories of myself when I was young, and my mom would show me how to cook, so that I was able to for myself and my family one day. Which surely did come in handy!

From Barrenness To Blessedness...

Mama My Ear Broke...

The exterior part of our ears are mostly made of unbreakable cartilage right? At least I thought it was, and found it kind of funny when my son "bubby" ran up to me with a concerned look on his face saying,

"mama my ear is bleeding and it's broke (broken)" (he hit it on a door). After inspecting his ear, it was only a little red, but not bleeding and definitely not broken. From one parent to another. Our kids will say the funniest things at times, "my ear broke" is something that you just don't hear everyday!(smiles)

Prayer Faith Destiny...

I believe that as we pray we should always have visions of God's destiny for our lives in mind, and NEVER our current circumstances.

Prayer mixed with focus of circumstance produces worry, but prayer mixed with faith and expectancy, produces great peace,and destiny in our lives !

Happy New Year 2014...

I am so excited and expecting great things for the year ahead. Thinking about all of the new souls that will receive their Salvation this year Acts(2:38).

I feel that God has really been dealing with certain individuals, that are now ready to make a spiritual change in their lives.

I am happy for them, and I celebrate in advance. By faith great change has come, Happy New Year!
